Hangar One Delivers Pima County Sheriff's New AS350-B3e

Hangar One Avionics has successfully completed and delivered a new custom AS350-B3e model Eurocopter to Pima County Sheriff's Department.

The new aircraft includes a Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) camera system which is integrated with a GPS-based mapping system, as well as a video down-linking system.  A Goodrich hoist system was installed to facilitate search and rescue missions.  Spectrolab's SX-16 Nightsun searchlight was added for night time operations.  Technisonics multi-band radios, interfaced to the Becker digital audio system, were added to handle tactical communications.

Pima County plans to use the machine for all of its airborne law enforcement needs, as well as search and rescue.  The custom completion is one of the most advanced helicopter completions in existence, and will serve Pima County for years to come.  See below for before and after photos of the helicopter.
